owl city manic.
goodness it's been so long since i last went crazy over such awesome music.
but owl city really really owns; their songs are such lovely works of art.
think whimsical images, but an overall beautiful message of love. i know it doesn't really make sense if you haven't seen how they fit so impeccably, yet it's just so, so beautiful in the end.
yeah; i'm a sucker for masterful juxtaposition. oh and the cute imagery hahaha anyone who reads my writing knows how much i love imagery. done this way, perfect.

I opened my eyes last night
And saw you in the low light
Walking down by the bay on the shore
Staring up at the planes that weren't there any more
I was feeling the night grow old

Like an introvert i drew my overshirt
Around my arms and began to shiver violently before

Moving into the dark underground
All the subways around create a great sound
To my motion fatigue: farewell

As if you actually were inside a saltwater room
